The Barrio Riders MC was established in the summer of 1993. It all started when Jacinto Flores (Chico) got together with a few friends at Colt’s Park in Hartford CT for a day of riding around the city. As the weeks turned into months the riders became serious about riding as a group. By the summer of 1994 the name Barrio Boys surfaced from the gathering they had at the Colt’s Park and a monthly meeting at Preston Street in Hartford CT.
By 1995 The Barrio Boys became interested in becoming a non-profit organization MC and by unanimous decision the name was change to Barrio Riders MC. Since then we have formed chapters in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New York, Portugal, Carlisle - PA and Bethlehem - PA.

The Barrio Riders is group of diverse people from all walks of life dedicated to establishing a good image of the motorcycling community while creating lasting friendships. We promote motorcycle safety while having fun riding and doing family and community oriented activities. The Club is open to all types of motorcycles and continually seeks new ways to enhance our member’s experiences of owning a motorcycle.
